Privacy Policy

Last updated 12 October 2026

ApplyNexo is operated by TRAFFIVO LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose and retain personal information through the ApplyNexo website and related communications, and explains your privacy choices.

Our website is intended for users in the United States. This policy covers our own information practices. External job boards, employers and other websites have their own privacy policies.

1. Overview

You can search for jobs on ApplyNexo without creating an account. We do not provide job-seeker accounts, résumé uploads or application forms that ask for your name, email address or phone number.

We collect technical information and records of searches, job impressions and clicks. This includes your IP address, user-agent information, approximate location, a session identifier and, when you allow the optional analytics cookie, a longer-lived browser identifier. These records are not necessarily anonymous.

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the information you include in your message.

2. Information We Collect

Technical information. We collect and retain your IP address and user-agent information, which can describe your browser, operating system and device type. We also collect cookie preferences and applicable cookie identifiers.

Search information. We record search terms, the location you enter, selected filters, the number of results returned and search-response timing.

Impressions and clicks. We record job listings displayed to you and jobs you click, including their placement in the results and the destination website.

Approximate location. We derive approximate city-level location from your IP address. This location may be inaccurate. Our location feature does not request your device’s GPS location.

Referral information. We record information about the website that referred you to ApplyNexo when that information is provided by your browser.

Correspondence. If you email us, we collect your email address, message and any information or attachments you choose to provide.

Sources of information. We receive information directly from you when you enter searches, select filters or contact us. We collect technical and activity information automatically when your browser interacts with our website. We derive approximate location from your IP address using a local geolocation database.

You can browse and search without providing contact information. However, using the website involves the technical and activity-data processing described in this policy.

Please avoid entering names, contact details, Social Security numbers, financial information or other sensitive personal information into job-search fields.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide job-search results and operate the website.
  • Show jobs relevant to the location you enter or your approximate location.
  • Understand search demand and improve the relevance and performance of our service.
  • Measure job impressions and clicks.
  • Identify repeated or invalid clicks and support partner reporting and payment reconciliation.
  • Detect automated traffic, fraud, abuse and technical problems.
  • Remember and apply your cookie preferences.
  • Respond to questions and privacy requests.
  • Meet applicable legal obligations and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We use our own systems to record search, impression and click activity. We do not currently use Google Analytics.

We do not currently send job alerts, newsletters, marketing emails, marketing texts or marketing calls. We may respond to communications you send us, including privacy requests.

4. IP Addresses and Approximate Location

We retain raw IP addresses in our detailed activity records.

We use a local IP-geolocation database to estimate your approximate city. The geolocation lookup takes place on our servers rather than by sending your IP address to an external geolocation service for that lookup.

If you search without entering a location, we use your approximate location to show nearby jobs. The results page explains this and provides a way to search without that location restriction.

IP addresses, cookie identifiers and other technical information may allow activity to be associated with the same browser or network. We do not describe these records as anonymous merely because they do not include your name.

5. Cookies and Your Choices

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We ask for your preference before setting our optional analytics cookie.

CookiePurposeDuration
jcRemembers whether you allow the optional analytics cookie.Six months
jvUses a random browser identifier to recognize repeat activity across browsing sessions.30 days

The jc cookie stores your cookie preference. Before you choose, and if you decline optional cookies, we use only this preference cookie.

The jv identifier does not contain your name or contact details, but it can connect activity to the same browser.

You can change your preference through Cookie Settings in the website footer. Withdrawing permission stops the use of and deletes our optional jv cookie.

Declining optional cookies does not stop all server-side processing. We continue to receive and record IP addresses, user-agent information, session identifiers and search, impression and click events as described in this policy. These records support website operation, performance measurement, click validation and abuse prevention.

We do not use a cookie to identify a browsing session. Instead, we assign a random session identifier to activity from the same IP address, which ends after a period of inactivity. We use it to connect searches, the listings shown and clicks, and to count repeated clicks on a job once. Activity from different people who share an IP address may be associated with the same session.

Your cookie preference applies to the browser in which you make it. You may need to set your preference separately on other browsers or devices. If you delete the preference cookie, we may ask you to choose again.

Deleting cookies or changing your browser’s cookie settings does not automatically delete information already stored in our systems. You may contact us separately about deletion of stored information.

6. Browser Privacy Signals

Cookie preferences can be managed through Cookie Settings.

Some browsers provide a “Do Not Track” setting. This setting is separate from our cookie controls and from legally recognized opt-out preference signals.

Where applicable law requires us to recognize an opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control, we will treat it as a request to opt out of the processing covered by that law and signal.

Such a signal does not necessarily stop processing needed to deliver the website, maintain security or comply with legal obligations.

7. Job Partners, Service Providers and Other Disclosures

Job partners. ApplyNexo works with third-party job-listing providers, job boards, advertising networks and employers to display job opportunities and direct users to external listings. Our partners may change over time. We report valid referral activity to support our publisher relationships.

External job websites. Clicking a job link may take you to a third-party job board, employer or other job-hosting website. The destination website receives information associated with your visit, which can include your IP address, browser information and information carried by the referral link or browser request. Its processing is governed by its own privacy policy.

We do not collect applications or résumés submitted on those external websites. Review their privacy policies before providing information.

Service providers. Providers supporting our website infrastructure, storage and security may process information to perform services for us.

Legal and security disclosures. We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to respond to lawful requests, investigate fraud or security incidents, protect rights and safety, or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Business transfers. Information may be disclosed during a proposed or completed merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of some or all of our business or assets, subject to applicable confidentiality and legal requirements. A transfer does not eliminate applicable privacy rights or permit incompatible uses without any notice or consent required by law.

At your direction. We may disclose information when you specifically request or authorize the disclosure. We will explain the information and purpose when seeking your authorization.

Authorized personnel. Our employees and individual contractors may access personal information when reasonably necessary to perform their assigned responsibilities, such as operating and maintaining the website, providing support, investigating fraud or security incidents, and responding to privacy requests. We limit access according to job responsibilities and require personnel with access to follow confidentiality, privacy and security requirements. They are not authorized to use personal information for unrelated personal purposes.

8. Retention

We automatically delete detailed website activity records after 90 days, including the raw IP addresses, user-agent information and search, impression and click details contained in those records.

Cookie durations are listed separately above. Deleting an activity record does not itself delete a cookie stored in your browser.

After deleting detailed activity records, we may retain statistics that have been aggregated or deidentified so they cannot reasonably be linked to an individual or their browser or device. We use these statistics to evaluate searches, job performance and website usage.

We will maintain deidentified information in that form and will not attempt to reidentify it, except as permitted by applicable law to evaluate our deidentification safeguards.

Privacy correspondence and records of how we handled requests are retained separately for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the matter, document our response and meet applicable legal obligations.

Information collected independently by external job websites is subject to their retention policies.

9. Your Privacy Rights and Requests

Depending on your state of residence and the laws applicable to TRAFFIVO LLC, you may have rights to:

  • Confirm whether we process your personal information.
  • Request information about the categories of personal information we process, its sources, our purposes and the categories of recipients.
  • Access your information and obtain a portable copy.
  • Request correction or deletion.
  • Obtain information about specific third parties to which information was disclosed, where applicable law provides that right.
  • Opt out of certain sales, sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, targeted advertising or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
  • Limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information, where applicable.
  • Appeal a decision concerning your request.

The availability and scope of these rights depend on applicable law and the processing involved. Listing a right does not mean that we engage in every activity to which that right may apply.

How to Submit a Request

Email info@applynexo.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. Explain the request and the relevant interaction with our website. Do not include sensitive identity documents in your initial email.

We may request limited information reasonably necessary to locate relevant records and verify an access, correction or deletion request. The verification process will reflect the nature of the request and the sensitivity of the information.

We will use information collected for verification only for verification, security and legally required recordkeeping. We will not require you to create an account.

For opt-out requests, we will not require identity verification where applicable law prohibits it, although we may need limited information to apply your preference to the appropriate browser or records.

An IP address alone may not reliably identify you because addresses can be shared or reassigned. If we cannot reasonably associate records with you or verify a request, we will explain the limitation.

Authorized Agents

Where an authorized agent may act on your behalf, we may request evidence of that authority and any additional verification permitted by law.

Responses and Appeals

We will respond within the time required by applicable law and explain any applicable exception, extension or denial. We will not unlawfully discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising privacy rights.

Where you have an appeal right, email info@applynexo.com with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line. Identify the request and explain why you believe our decision should be reconsidered.

We will respond to your appeal and provide further complaint information as required by applicable law.

10. Who May Use the Services?

ApplyNexo is intended for individuals who reside in the United States. You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age required by applicable law in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher, to use ApplyNexo. Our service helps users search for job opportunities and connect to external job-listing websites. Individuals under that minimum age are not permitted to use ApplyNexo. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under that minimum age. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will take appropriate steps to delete it, subject to applicable legal requirements.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that an individual under the minimum age described above has provided personal information through ApplyNexo, or you have questions about a teenager’s privacy, please contact info@applynexo.com. Please describe your concern without including unnecessary sensitive information.

Where information is processed. TRAFFIVO LLC is based in the United States. Information collected through ApplyNexo may be stored or processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate. These providers may support website hosting, data storage, security and other operational services described in this Privacy Policy.

Privacy laws in those countries may differ from the laws where you reside. Where information is transferred internationally, we will comply with applicable requirements and implement any safeguards required by law. Where a particular transfer or use requires your consent, we will obtain that consent rather than rely solely on your use of the website.

11. Security

We are responsible for maintaining safeguards appropriate to the information we process. No method of transmission or storage can guarantee absolute security.

Please avoid sending sensitive information that is unnecessary for your question or request.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when our services, information practices or legal obligations change. We will publish the revised policy on this page and update its effective date.

For material changes, we will provide a prominent notice on the website and any additional notice required by applicable law.

Where a new use or disclosure requires consent, we will obtain that consent before beginning the activity. Continued use of the website will not substitute for consent where affirmative consent is legally required.

13. California Privacy Notice

This California Privacy Notice supplements the ApplyNexo Privacy Policy and provides additional information for California residents concerning the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020, and its implementing regulations (collectively, “CCPA”).

The rights and obligations described in this section apply to the extent TRAFFIVO LLC and the relevant processing are subject to the CCPA. If this notice conflicts with another part of our Privacy Policy concerning rights required by the CCPA, this notice controls.

A. Categories of Personal Information

The table below describes the categories of personal information collected through ApplyNexo. For a website operating for less than 12 months, the relevant reporting period is the period since launch.

CorrespondenceThe content of messages and attachments you voluntarily send us, including privacy requestsDirectly from you or your authorized representativeResponding to inquiries, handling requests and maintaining appropriate records

We do not provide job-seeker accounts, résumé-upload features or job-application forms. Applications submitted on external job websites are governed by those websites’ privacy practices.

B. Sensitive Personal Information

Our current website features do not request Social Security numbers, financial-account credentials, account passwords, precise GPS location, biometric identifiers or other sensitive personal information.

However, you may voluntarily include sensitive information in a search or message. Please avoid submitting sensitive information that is unnecessary for the service or your request.

If we process sensitive personal information in a manner that triggers a right to limit its use or disclosure under the CCPA, we will provide the required notice and method for exercising that right.

C. Disclosures of Personal Information

The disclosures described in Section 7 apply to the categories listed above where relevant to the stated purpose.

Providers supporting website hosting, storage and security may process technical identifiers, activity records and approximate location to provide their services. Providers supporting email and communications may process information contained in correspondence.

Authorized personnel may access information as reasonably necessary for their assigned responsibilities, subject to the access restrictions described in this policy.

We may also disclose relevant information in response to legal requirements, for the security and legal purposes described in Section 7, in connection with a business transfer, or at your direction.

Job-partner disclosures: In the preceding 12 months (or since launch), we sent job-listing providers the search terms, location and filters needed to fetch results for your search. Where you did not enter a location, this was the approximate city derived from your IP address. We report clicks to job partners only as aggregate counts. We do not send job partners your IP address, user-agent information or cookie identifiers.

D. Sale or Sharing of Personal Information

Under the CCPA, “sale” can include disclosing personal information in exchange for money or other valuable consideration. “Sharing” has a specific meaning involving cross-context behavioral advertising. These definitions may apply even when a business does not sell names or email lists.

Our practices: TRAFFIVO LLC has not sold or shared personal information during the preceding 12 months (or since launch).

Where applicable, you may exercise your right to opt out through Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information in the website footer or by emailing info@applynexo.com. We also recognize Global Privacy Control where required by the CCPA.

An applicable sale or sharing opt-out does not require you to create an account or submit a verifiable consumer request. We may request limited information necessary to apply your choice.

For consumers we actually know are under 16, we will not sell or share their personal information without the affirmative authorization required by the CCPA. Individuals under 16 are not permitted to use ApplyNexo, as explained in Section 10.

E. Retention

Detailed website activity records, including the IP addresses, user-agent information, searches, impressions and clicks contained in those records, are automatically deleted after 90 days.

Cookie durations are described in Section 5. Correspondence and privacy-request records are retained separately as reasonably necessary to handle the matter, document our response and meet applicable legal obligations.

Information retained in aggregated or deidentified form is handled as described in Section 8.

F. California Privacy Rights

Subject to applicable requirements and exceptions, California residents may have the following rights:

Right to know and access. You may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, our business or commercial purposes, the categories of recipients, and information about applicable sales, sharing or disclosures for business purposes.

Right to delete. You may request deletion of personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.

Right to correct. You may request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.

Right to opt out of sale or sharing. Where applicable, you may direct us to stop selling or sharing your personal information.

Right to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information. Where applicable, you may direct us to limit uses and disclosures covered by this right.

Right to non-discrimination. We will not unlawfully discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.

G. Submitting Requests

Email info@applynexo.com with “California Privacy Request” in the subject line. Describe the right you wish to exercise and the relevant interaction with ApplyNexo. The subject line is helpful but is not required for us to consider your request.

For requests to know, access, delete or correct information, we may need to verify your identity and locate the relevant records. We will request only information reasonably necessary for that process.

Because we do not maintain job-seeker accounts, we may be unable to reliably associate some records with you. An IP address alone may not establish identity because it can be shared or reassigned. We will explain any inability to verify or fulfill a request rather than disclose another person’s information.

Please do not send Social Security numbers, passwords or identity documents in your initial email.

You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request. We may require evidence of the agent’s authority and additional verification as permitted by law.

We will acknowledge and respond to requests within the applicable legal deadlines. If an extension or exception applies, we will explain it as required by law.
